FOOD FOR KIDS is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing nutritious meals and snacks to children in need, ensuring they have the essential resources to grow healthy and strong. Why Childhood Nutrition Matters
Building Stronger Futures
Proper nutrition during childhood is critical for physical growth, cognitive development, and academic achievement. Children who receive adequate nutrition are more likely to succeed in school, develop stronger immune systems, and maintain better mental health.
Unfortunately, 1 in 6 children in Virginia faces food insecurity. Our programs directly address this challenge by ensuring consistent access to nutritious meals that support healthy development and educational success.
How We Serve Our Community

03
